The house in Corsicana
where Minnie was born on 7 Dec 1910. Photo taken in 1964.
Photo of Minnie and Ed, probably taken in 1911. This is a photo where Minnie looks very much like I did at the same age.
Eddie and Minnie Carl
4-30-1912, 308 East 1st Avenue, Corsicana, Texas
Photo taken at the same
time as the one above. Written on the back of this one is: Ed and Minnie Carl
and cousin Elizabeth Posey. There is a photo of me at this age in which I am
holding my hands the same way as Minnie.
Minnie and Ed Carl ca.
1913-14
Ed, Minnie and Euna Carl
ca.1913-1914. Euna was an excellent seamstress and probably made the clothes
the children are wearing in the photos above.
Minnie, Ed and Ed Sr.
This was probably taken around 1918.
This photograph of Ed, Minnie, Ed
Jr and Euna Carl was probably taken in 1918 or 1919, immediately before the
separation and divorce in April 1919.
Minnie and Ed in undated
photo. This may have been taken in front of the house belonging to Frank Carl or
the Saunders Ave house or even the house of John and Mary Carl in Austin in
1919. It does not look like the house on Huisache nor does it look like Minnie
and Ed are very happy!
Minnie at 18 in 1928. I
have got a photo of me somewhat older than 18, but with my hair in a similar
style that looks very much like this.

Ed was always close to his sister, Minnie. They had
several photos taken together. Here are some probably taken in the late 1920s
or 1930s.
This is a close-up of a
group snapshot showing a frowning Ed and a Minnie who looks spookily like me.
The boy in the middle has not been identified.
Above, a pretty photo of
Minnie, dated 5/11/37. From the date, she may have given it to Ed for his
birthday on 5/15/37.
These are
still photos pulled from the movie that was made on June 12, 1940, after the
wedding of Ed and Mercy Carl. Mr. and
Mrs. E. M. Carl, Sr.
