Celebrating Ginny, our February birthday with Pat's pretty cake!

Ginny makes a second attempt to blow out the tricky re-starting candles!

Cabaret was fun and a big success.

Four of our March birthday babies - Pat, Joyce, Joanne, Jean. Missing Susan and Ruth

Ginny, the winner of the Easter Egg hunt!

It was announced after Easter that Ed Grobe, our wonderfully talented pianist, composer and linguist, was retiring. The photo above is of him performing at this year's Cabaret. We'll miss him a lot!

On Sat, April 14, a large group from UUCP gathered to march in the Pride Parade. There were several choir members, present and past, involved: Carolyn, Charlotte & Smoot, Dick, Elise and in the center of the photo in the red shirt, Mary Anne Poggenburg, a former member of our choir. Sandy Weir, part of our UUCP in-house band, was the very efficient co-ordinator of the event. Carolyn and I created business cards to hand out during the parade.

Three May birthday honorees from Chandler joined ours to celebrate.

Our May birthday babies - Barbara, Jerry, Paula and Sally

On Sunday, May 13, 2007, the choir of the Valley UU Church in Chandler joined us for a Music Service.

On Saturday, June 2, 2007, we had a tribute to Ed Grobe for his many years of service to the choir and the church.

The next morning, June 3rd, we sang at the Chandler church.

After the Chandler service some of us went out to eat. It had been a very busy weekend!

At our first choir practice in the fall, on August 29th, we celebrated July and August birthdays - r to l: Art, Duke, Charlotte, Heidi, Dante, Diana, Rachel (our newest choir member and only July birthday), and Frank

On Saturday, Sept 2, we gathered again for our choir retreat, practicing all the music we'll do at Christmas.

Then we took a break for lunch and what a spread!

In the afternoon the Leungs joined us to discuss the future of the Family Choir.

And then the next day, Sept 2, since it was Hymn Sing Sunday, we hosted Coffee Hour, with still another spread.

Jimmy and Smoot - the dynamic duo! Diana looks skeptical.

On Sept 9, we celebrated our Water Ceremony. These photos were taken by Bill. Above, Susan takes the mike.

Then Jerry

Then Carolyn

And then Smoot.
