Bill and Joan had graciously
offerred to host a party at their house on
Sept 16, but he got sick so the party was moved to Richard and Connie's.

Celebrating Diana and Connie, our Sept and Oct b'days.

Good breath support!

Cutting Pat's yummy cake. We missed our other two honorees, Bill and
Elise.

Connie seriously contemplating her goodies!

An enthusiastic crowd.

Connie wearing her balloon while Diana opens her gift and Lynne looks
on!

Carolyn, Barbara and Jean looking colorful and happy.

Halloween!

Choir party at Bill and Joan's on Nov 11.

On Sunday, Nov 18, unbeknownst to Connie, we gathered to not only sing
but to honor her for her 10th anniversary at UUCP. Look at the size of
the group - 26 people with Connie and Lynne!

We sang Wana Baraka with guest drummer, Sam Anderson and guest choir
member, Mo Ostroff, a new member and music lover.

Paula, as chair of the Music Committee presented Connie with the
certificate and gifts.

We also presented Ed with flowers and the signed photo of the choir
taken at his retirement concert in June. It was fun having him back.
And even better since Connie didn't realize he was coming to honor her
and he didn't realize we'd honor him too! Jean did a masterful job of
arranging that. We can be soo sneaky!

If you're wondering why the wording and notes were brown, it's because
they were in caramel which, according to Richard, is Connie's favorite
flavor!

Connie opened her gifts at the Music Committee meeting. She was so
pleased with the violin shaped cutting board with the bow shaped knife,
she showed us how it could be played!

Pauline watches as Connie looks at the violin shaped pin made of amber.

Connie put on both the pin and the sterling silver chain before she
read
her card. The snake chain makes it possible for her to wear the pin as
a necklace if she wants to.

We only have one November birthday, Carolyn. We started her celebration
with a jazzy rendition of Happy Birthday.

Some sopranos and a tenor felt moved to dance their way to the break
room!

Then it was time to blow out the candles on one of Pat's yummy cakes.

Good breath support!
A group of 32 people
from the church, youth and adults, went caroling on Dec 15. It was
fun, but after 5 hours of driving and singing, we were pooped! You can see more pics from the
caroling on my website at
http://www.charlottes-web.com/2007_Caroling.htm.
On Dec 29 we had an After
Christmas Party at our house. Thirty current and former choir members
attended.

More photos from this party can also be seen at

On Dec 30th we had a Hymn Sing service. Moses, aka Richard, came out
with tablets of the most popular UU hymns.

On Dec 31, the choir hosted a New Year's Masquerade Ball.
